American Civil War - Gettysburg

To commemorate the heroism and courage that transformed America. The three day battle of Gettysburg is the epic drama of the USA. For the first three days of July, 1863 they fought. On the 4th of July, the armies of a wounded, divided nation paused to bury the dead.

Gettysburg -- first day
some wearing blue, others gray
stain a field red

Little Round Top (second day)
a thin blue line holds
Brave Men of Maine

not quite 2 o'clock (third day -- Pickett's Charge)
that July afternoon
sabers drawn -- Charge !!

what they did there
from the North and the South
we'll long remember
